Chemists Celebrate Earth Day!

Grades K-5 Join DHDC, WTAMU and the American Chemical Society as we celebrate our home planet and dive into this year’s theme, Oceans: Dive into Marine Chemistry. Students will explore the chemical aspect of water preservation and keeping our marine life healthy through hands-on learning stations, interactive demonstrations and special guest presentations. DHDC Catapult Challenge 2018

Grades 5-12 Student teams will test their engineering and design skills and expand their knowledge of math and physics as they create and construct a catapult to compete for eternal glory! Awards will be given for top teams in each age division, along with non-points awards for the Fiercest Fighter (best overall catapult design) and the Innovator’s Award (most creative or original catapult design.) 6th Annual Egg Drop Engineering Competition
